Easter customs and traditions are almost the same everywhere only with few minor exceptions. Saturday evenings before Easter are spent mostly to decorate the Easter eggs and hiding them.
On the Easter Sunday, people along with their children join for egg hunting which are hidden all over the house and garden. Many families even attend the morning Sunday Mass. The afternoon is spent with a sumptuous meal with family with Sunday roast specially a roasted lamb. The foods include traditional Simnel cake which is a fruit cake with eleven marzipian balls representing the eleven apostles and Hot cross buns.
