Most of the Western holidays are easy to predict. Easter being a moveable feast can fall each year between March 22nd and April 25th which is the first Sunday after the Vernal Equinox. The date is based on the lunar calendar instead of the solar calendar. The method of calculating the date of Easter is known as “computus” derived from the Latin word “computation”. According to the Western Calendar, Easter will be on 8th April 2012.
